Woodthorpe Community Group consists of about a dozen of us who meet weekly on Tuesday evenings around 8-10 pm. Our times together vary but usually we do some, or all of the following:-

Worshipping the Lord - our priority (Lesley on vocals and keyboard - the rest of us making a joyful noise unto the Lord!) Bible Study - Your word is a lamp to my feet, a light for my path (we've just widened our garden path, so it's easier to get to the front door now - spiritually though we're still on the narrow path!)

Take Communion - Jesus told us to do this in remembrance of Him.

In an atmosphere of love and acceptance we share with each other and pray for one another.

We like to laugh - it is scriptural after all and good for the bones God said.

Sometimes we go to the pub for a game of skittles and a meal, inviting others along to share in the fun.

Some of us are involved in the ministry at Lowdham Grange Prison.

Our aim is to encourage and build each other up in our walk with the Lord and share our faith at every opportunity.
