Here at Riverside we believe in the power of prayer. We have seen that power at work in peoples’ lives, when God has healed people when they have been prayed for in the Name of Jesus.

The Bible says that, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever”. (Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV))

It also tells us about Jesus that, “When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.” (Luke 4:40 (NKJV))

God is still showing his love today by healing people. Once that fact is accepted, it is a natural next step to bring your need before him in prayer.

This is where the Healing Ministry comes into its own. The Healing Ministry consists of a dedicated and experienced team who will pray for people to receive their healing in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Where?
At the Riverside Church Centre, King Street, Southwell, Notts., NG25 0EN.

When?
Fortnightly on a Saturday 10.30am to 12.30pm throughout the year.
Fortnightly on a Monday 8.00pm to 9.30pm March to September.

What happens? You will be welcomed into a gentle, caring atmosphere with soft background music. You will be asked to complete a brief form explaining why you need prayer. Your need might be physical, spiritual or emotional or a mixture of these.

Whilst you relax with a cup of tea or coffee, and a biscuit, a team of three people will spend a few minutes with the form praying to the Lord about your need.
