COPING WITH PRESSURE IN TODAY'S WORLD

In this morning for men Geoff Shattock will take us on two laps of the rat race which will help us see how the man who changed the world can change the shape of our week. First, he will share a life transforming 7 sided insight which he guarantees will let you see yourself your faith and your week in a new light. So no pressure on him then!

Second, he will help us see how Peter handled his pressure, how Jesus of Nazareth handled pressure and how Jesus handled Peter’s pressure.

Geoff Shattock is a Physiologist, Ordained Minister and Stress Psychobiolgist. He has been a stress consultant for businesses, a director of evangelism for 280 London Baptist churches as well as a local church pastor and life coach. For the last 20years he has run WORKTALK a ministry which aims to solve the puzzle of faith and work.

‘If I am honest’ he says ‘my main qualification in speaking with you is that I am a fellow struggler with pressure and stress-so I search as you search for a better way to live ’

As we are tested and challenged more by the changing world around us and by our own need to have our roots in Christ deeper and deeper, it is so good to unite and pray for all relationships. ACCESS Youth Group will be holding a weekend away at Stathern Lodge again this year. If you would like to join us, please book below. Consent forms will be email to you and must be given to a youth leader before the weekend.

Stathern Lodge is a secluded set of buildings approx. 10 minutes outside of Bingham. We plan to start from around 6.00pm on Friday 17th and finish at 3:00pm on Sunday 19th. Please note that you will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the event. The address for sat-navs is Braithwaite, Gospel Trust, Stathern Lodge Farm, Stathern, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE14 4EX.

This is a Youth Group event and we will be running meetings, studies and other sessions which are
mandatory. The event will also include all the usual activities (sports, games, music etc.).

Cost
£40 if booking before the end of February
£45 from 1st March

All food for the weekend will be provided as part of this cost.
