We are a friendly, welcoming group where our aim is to strengthen and grow our faith and ignite those glowing embers and blow into life the flames of desire to be who God made you to be! As such we enjoy a variety of studies, times of worship, prayer and outreach to the local community in ways that we are able.
We aim to nurture, support, encourage and develop each other as we grow in our relationship with God.
We also enjoy having a natter, building friendships and general socialising (tea, biscuits and cakes often included!). All new comers are very welcome so please get in touch.

We are a friendly, chatty group who enjoy each others company and welcoming new people into the group. Our evenings usually begin at 8pm on Wednesday evenings with tea/coffee. biscuits and sometimes homemade cake (we have three really good bakers in the group).
We then study the word and pray for each other. Connect group usually finishes around 10pm, although being a chatty group it has been known to linger a bit. Lots of socials too. Come and join us you will be made to feel very welcome.

A typical evening consists of a time of worship, prayer and bible study and of course a cup of tea and cake.
We like to have a social every couple of months and sometimes meet together for breakfasts, walks, coffee and fellowship as well.

Welcome to Forged Connect Group! We meet together every Wednesday evening from 7:30pm-9:30pm at various locations across the Southwell area. Come and join us for Bible study basics, lively discussion, worship, prayer ministry, socials and plenty of fun!
This is when we can meet as a smaller group to enable us to get to know each other better. To share on a deeper level with each other and the God that we love and serve. Talking over the teaching from the previous Sunday.
Newark West Connect Group meet between three separate venues on a Tuesday evening from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm beginning with tea/coffee and biscuits!
We share a vision to equip ourselves for God's service and are seeking to grow in spiritual maturity and knowledge of God by Bible Study and group discussion on various subjects.
We take Communion regularly together and have times of worship, prayer, and prayer ministry. We recognise we need to be a 'whole' people; a thankful people; a free people. We enjoy inviting guest speakers and also have the occasional quiz! Oh, and we laugh a lot!!
Being able to share our needs within our group is vital as we can then support one another in prayer. All prayer requests are confidential within the group. As we build on relationships we hope to reach out into the Community and share the gospel.
We have regular Social times together - always plenty of food available on these occasions!! - with breaks from meeting together usually during the summer and Christmas holidays.

Orchard's members hope to lead each other to the heights of God's vision for us all. Focusing on God's Word the group get around the kitchen table and do business with God in a 'deep speaks to deep' manner. Every member of the group has the opportunity to lead discussions on topics of their choice.
Being accountable to each other, in love and safety and always respecting confidentiality, the group meets and encourages each other in line with Hebrews 10:25. The Orchards Group has a prayer book and prayer chain and supports a local charity/cause.
Socials are held regularly!
All welcome!

Our group meet weekly at 8pm on Wednesday evenings. We represent church members from Blidworth, Mansfield and Farnsfield as well as Ravenshead itself. We always start with a catch up coffee and biscuits which gives us a chance to keep up to date with each others news. We take it in turns to lead the sessions and study a variety of different topics, Sometimes taking a book of the Bible or a theme or particular issue. We feel that our prayer support for each other is really important and keep in touch with each other during the week on Whatsapp so that someone is available whenever issues crop up.
We are a very friendly and welcoming group and anyone is welcome!

We are a small, friendly group who enjoy meeting for fellowship (and laughter!), worshipping God together, praying for one another as well as the wider world, and to regularly study God's word to develop our relationship with Him and grow together in our faith.
We usually sing two or three songs to centre our thoughts on Jesus. We encourage each other to bring individual and family needs to God in prayer, occasionally meeting around the communion table to remember and celebrate all that Jesus has done for us.
From time to time we share a meal together either in a home or a local cafe or bistro.
We usually break from meeting together at school holiday times.
If you think a daytime group is for you, do contact us. You would be very welcome.
We meet on Thursday mornings at 10.30 always starting with coffee! We finish by 12 noon.

We meet at the home of Martin and Louise Cooper on Tuesday between 8 - 10pm. The first thing on arrival is to be greeted with tea, coffee, biscuits or cake and made to feel very welcome in their comfy lounge.
Because we are all friends this stage can last quite a while as we chat and share what is happening in our lives.
The next thing is to sing our worship and praise to God, led beautifully by Nic or with CDs and other music. During this time we find prayer comes easily, and we never miss this part of the evening as we love it so much!
Then we are ready to study God's word, with time for discussion, which helps our understanding, or we may have communion.
By the time we leave we know that we have been among friends and more importantly in the presence of God
We are a small friendly group and are very open for new people to join us.
We support one another through chatting and praying together.
We often take it in turns to lead the study session and enjoy a good discussion!
You are very welcome to join us!

Southwell Westlife would welcome anyone who would like to join as we learn and grow together. Our desire is to understand the Word of God better so we focus on Bible study often exploring the Hebraic roots of the Christian faith. All group meetings begin with praise and prayer and on the first Tuesday in each month members undertake a partial fast and spend the group time in prayer. This is the serious side of the group but in addition we plan to have evenings solely for fellowship and fun and probably food!
If you live nearby we would give you a warm welcome so why not join us?

'For he will be nourished like a tree planted by the waters, that spreads out its roots by the river; and will not fear the heat when it comes; but its leaves will be green and moist. And it will not be anxious and concerned in a year of drought nor stop bearing fruit.' Jeremiah 17:8 (AMP)
Welcome to 'Thrive', where our vision is to do just that: to thrive exactly where God's planted us. Both as a group and as individuals, our desire is to grow in the plans and purposes of God.
